CD Cars

Yesterday we made CD cars. It was so cool. I wish the whole town could make them, so we can all have a race.

I was happy and relieved when the cars worked.

To make the cars we used wood, drill, nails, elastic bands, bolts and wing nuts.

First we cut the wood to size 25cm. We used some square blocks with nails for the middle parts.

Then we drilled some big holes to put a screw bar through.

Next we screwed the nuts on to hold the CD in place.

Then we added a nail to hold the elastic band on.

We used the elastic band to make the car go.
